Love was never a heartbeat. It was the echo left behind after the heart forgot why it was still beating. It arrived wearing another person's face, its hands stitched together from promises that had already begun to rot. I welcomed it. Not because it was kind, but because loneliness knows how to mistake a wolf for warmth. Every smile it offered cast a longer shadow. Every whispered "forever" fed another ghost sleeping beneath my ribs. The thought of love is a clever liar. It builds cathedrals from broken mirrors, then asks us to kneel before our own reflections, calling the illusion destiny. How eagerly we obey. We water flowers that grow from graves, write poems to people who never truly existed, and embrace memories still unborn. Love watches. Silent. Patient. Like a spider waiting in the center of a web woven from hope. It never forces us inside. It simply lets us believe the silver threads are rays of morning light. By the time we understand, the sky has forgotten our ...
From tiny seeds beneath the ground,
Where silence wraps the soul around,
Great dreams are born in hidden places,
Far from applause and crowded faces.
No mountain rises in one day,
No river learns without its way,
No soul becomes a shining light
Without surviving endless night.
Life whispers lessons through the rain,
Through shattered hopes and seasons’ pain,
Through doors once closed and hearts betrayed,
Through lonely paths we feared and stayed.
Growth is not gentle all the time,
It bends the soul, it tests the mind,
It asks for patience in the dark
While carrying a wounded heart.
The strongest trees endure the storm,
Before their mighty roots are formed,
And every scar the spirit wears
Becomes a sign that hope still cares.
Learn from the failures life will send,
From broken roads and sudden ends,
For wisdom blooms where tears have been,
And strength is born from deep within.
Do not compare your path to theirs,
The blooming rose, and oak grow years,
Some stars arrive before the dawn,
Some rise when every light is gone.
Protect the fire inside your chest,
When doubt declares you are not blessed,
For many voices kill the dream
Before it ever learns to breathe.
Walk with the ones who help you rise,
Who speak of hope beyond the skies,
Who lifts your soul instead of fear,
And remind you why you’re still here.
Grow through the heartbreak and despair,
Grow when life seems unfair,
Grow when the world forgets your name,
Still guard the burning inner flame.
One day, the tears you hid away
Will water fields of brighter days,
And every battle you survived
Will prove the reason you stayed alive.
So keep on growing through the pain,
Through loss, through struggle, through the rain,
For those who never choose to quit
Will one day rise because of it.
