The mountain never bowed to applause, Nor did the river pause for tears. The sky has carried a thousand storms Without remembering a single face. You are a traveler, not the road. A heartbeat, not the clock. The world was already speaking Long before it learned your name. Some goodbyes bloom from seasons, Not from mistakes. Some distances are drawn by time, Not by the hands that reach across them. Don't make yourself the author Of every unfinished sentence. Some pages are left blank Because silence belongs there. There is a strange mercy In not standing at the center Of every ending, Of every change. The sun does not rise to prove a point. The stars do not dim to send a message. Life simply unfolds, Wild, indifferent, beautiful. So carry your kindness, Leave your footprints lightly, And when the world turns without asking, Smile. It's not about you. That's how it is. © 2026 Gloria Penelope
Tomorrow arrives
with closed hands.
It tells no stories,
reveals no maps,
and offers no promises.
It remains hidden
behind the curtain of midnight,
a mystery wrapped in silence,
waiting to be unveiled.
Perhaps it carries laughter.
Perhaps it carries tears.
Perhaps it holds an unexpected blessing
disguised as a challenge.
No one truly knows.
For life has never signed a contract
guaranteeing sunshine,
nor sworn an oath
to spare us from storms.
Yet still we wake.
Still we rise.
Still we dare
to look beyond today.
There is something remarkable
about the human soul.
Even after heartbreak,
it searches for healing.
Even after disappointment,
it searches for possibility.
Even after darkness,
it reaches for light.
Hope lingers there,
quietly.
Not shouting.
Not demanding.
Simply remaining.
A small flame
refusing to surrender
to the winds of uncertainty.
Tomorrow may know your mistakes,
but it does not belong to them.
Tomorrow may know your scars,
but it is not defined by them.
Tomorrow does not ask
who you used to be.
It arrives
with fresh pages.
Blank spaces.
Untold chapters.
And hidden surprises.
Perhaps somewhere
within that unseen day
waits a door you have not yet opened,
a kindness you have not yet received,
a dream you have not yet touched.
Life keeps its secrets well.
That is both its cruelty
and its beauty.
For if we knew everything,
there would be no wonder.
No faith.
No reason to keep walking.
So carry your hope gently.
Guard it carefully.
For though tomorrow makes no promises,
it always carries possibilities.
And sometimes,
hidden within the unknown,
lies the very thing
your soul has been waiting for.
All along.
